My Vision and our Mission

In 2015 I was traveling through Utah for my former employer. I was a photographer for a church directory division of a photo company. On my last night, while I was finishing a sitting with my last family, I witnessed their teenage son pitch a school fundraiser to another church member. Interested, she happily agreed to place an order to help out his fundraising efforts. He handed her a fundraising catalog to browse through and 45 minutes they finished placing her order. Curious, I asked the boy what the total of the woman’s order was, and he replied $30. I asked him how much he earned from that order, and he said 10%. That meant that he received $3 profit for his fundraiser from a sale that took 45 minutes to complete. I immediately realized that there must be an easier and a more profitable way to fundraise. At the time I was a partner in a candy store in my hometown. This gave me the idea to start researching an easier way to help people raise more money for less work.


For the past nine years, I have been on a mission to find a better way to help organizations earn money for their causes with a high yielding fundraising program. I have researched many other fundraising companies and programs. I researched their products, their resources that they provide, their percentage of profit, their incentives used to motivate participation and how people react to their products. I have taken this research and the experience of helping my own children with their fundraising efforts and created my own fundraising company.

This is how The Diamonds of Chocolate was born.
